Series 2. Yvonne Lawson, mother of Godwin Lawson — ,  talks about when her son was stabbed in a park in Brixton  and the effect it had on her. Godwin was a year-old promising footballer who witnessed two of his friends being attacked and tried to stop the fight.
Yvonne went on to set up a foundation to tackle gun and knife crime. Caroline Shearer,  mother of Jay Whiston — , talks about the last time she saw her son before he was attacked by five people who gatecrashed a party as he begged to be let go, how she was told about his death and the effect it has had on her life. Caroline worked to promote awareness of weapons among young people. Dwayne Simpson — was a caring, sensitive person who looked after people and tried to help them. His mother, Lorraine Jones,  talks about his life and how he was stabbed through the heart with a sword while trying to help someone who was being chased, and how she was with him when he died.
